This very stylish blue wool jacket was issued to many New York State Artillery units. Fitted with shoulder tabs trimmed in red and 2 belt loops. The collar was also piped but the cuffs were plain. The jacket is fitted with eight SNY Seal buttons to the front and two smaller ones to the shoulder tabs. Lining is black polished cotton with an interior pocket, sleeve lining is natural white muslin (calico). This version has a 'piped' pocket fitted to the exterior left hand front side of the jacket.
